Jewelry and Socks Reported Stolen from Kohl's

A Peekskill woman has been charged with petty larceny.

New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Martha Inga-Pani of Peekskill on Aug. 10 for Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to Kohl’s Department Store in Cortlandt for a larceny complaint. A Kohl’s employee alleged that Inga-Pani had concealed approximately $100 worth of jewelry and socks on her person and proceeded to walk passed the registers, avoiding payment.

The 28-year-old was issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to Cortlandt town court Aug. 24.
