Kidney Screenings in Peekskill
HRHCare Joins the National Kidney Foundation to Offer Free Kidney Screenings in Peekskill
HRHCare Community Health will join the National Kidney Foundation and other community organizations to offer free kidney screenings through the KEEP Healthy Program at Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Peekskill on Saturday, May 14th.
Participants will answer a brief health risk survey and have their blood pressure and body mass index measured. A medical professional will then review the results and provide helpful feedback and educational materials. For individuals particularly at risk, an ACR urine test for albumin will also be available. One out of every three individuals is at risk for kidney disease. With poor kidney health increasing the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney failure, these free screenings will help you learn how to improve your kidney health.
The National Kidney Foundation KEEP Healthy free kidney screenings will be available between 10 AM and 2:30 PM on Saturday, May 14th at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 11 Rev. G.
