Man Shot In Chest Found In Car: Peekskill Police

PEEKSKILL, NY — Police checking on a report of a suspicious man in a car found a body Saturday. The man, who had been believed to be sleeping in a running car, had in fact been shot in the chest.

Police called to the 900 block of Paulding Street at 2:55 a.m. called Peekskill Paramedics who declared him dead.

The man was later identified as 27-year-old Emmanuel Jordan, a former Peekskill resident, currently living in Mohegan Lake.
