NY Troopers Target Speeders, Distracted Drivers Thursday
In all, 106 tickets were issued along I-684 and Route 9, one-third of which were for failure to move over.
CORTLANDT, NY — The New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks conducted a speed enforcement detail Thursday on State Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt. Troopers also conducted a distracted driver detail on Interstate 684 in Somers.
During the Route 9 detail troopers issued 32 tickets, 26 of which were for speed violations, police said.
During the I-684 detail 74 tickets were issued: 34 of them were issued in violation of the move over law. One arrest was also made for Driving While Intoxicated.
