Kathy Hochul toured downtown Peekskill with city officials Sunday, checking in on projects funded by the state's $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative, including the Civic Hub and Paramount Hudson Valley Theater renovations. She praised Peekskill's progress, highlighted state support for small businesses, and heard from local owners and arts leaders about how these investments are reshaping the city's core.
   

• Caricati leads Huskers to victory (halstonmedia.com) — Peekskill's football team traveled to Yorktown on Friday, falling 44–8 on the Huskers' senior night despite briefly closing the gap with a first-half touchdown. Yorktown senior captain Tyler Caricati led a dominant ground attack, while several Husker seniors and underclassmen contributed big plays on both sides of the ball in a much-needed home win.
