Peekskill Ambulance Corps Mounts Fund Drive for Member with Cancer

He has volunteered for more than 25 years and the corps wants to give something back.

PEEKSKILL, NY — The Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corps has begun a fund drive to help one of its members defray the costs of his battle with cancer. Evan Fytros is a Life Member of the corps, having volunteered for more than 25 years.

"We would like Evan and his beautiful wife Jessica not to worry about any of the financial strain. We would like them to just be able to battle this horrible disease.We are asking for YOUR help! All donations will be deeply appreciated," the corps members wrote on their GoFundMe page.
