Peekskill Veterans to Voice Their Stories at Field Library
Participants in Veterans Writing Workshop read from new anthology "Afterwords: On My Way" Monday, October 22 at 6:30 pm.

On Monday, October 22 at 6:30 pm the Peekskill-area graduates of the Veterans Writing Workshop will be reading their work in a special event held at The Field Library.
AFTERwords: On Our Way is the first anthology from the participants of the Peekskill Veterans Writing Workshop series held in April/May 2018 and the writers will be reading excerpts from their work! Come listen and be inspired. Writers in the Peekskill anthology include Bob Duffy, Rob CarterMichael Palumbo,Matt Phair, Angel Ramos, and Stanley Wingfield.
The Veterans Writing Workshop works with veterans' organizations in the New York Metropolitan Area to provide U.S. veterans with professional-quality writing programs. Workshops and reading are sponsored by Poets & Writers Readings/Workshop Program with funds from the Literature Program of the New York State Council on the Arts.
