Peekskill Woman Accused Of Breaking Into Home, Stealing: Police

Police said she also destroyed three televisions.

CORTLANDT, NY — A Peekskill woman was arrested for breaking into a Town of Cortlandt home. State Police said Brittany Wilson, 28, of Peekskill, was charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, felonies.

Police said, around 6:30 p.m. March 23, troopers went to an Albany Post Road address in the Cortlandt for a report of a burglary.

The investigation found that Wilson broke into the home of a person she knew and destroyed three televisions. She then stole shoes, a designer bag and personal care items, police said.

State Police investigators located and arrested Wilson March 30 in the Bronx.

She was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
