Peekskill's St. Patrick's Parade Returns After 2 Years

Lifelong Peekskill resident and former mayor John Testa will be the grand marshal.

PEEKSKILL, NY — After a two-year absence because of the coronavirus, the Peekskill St. Patrick's Parade returns to the streets of the city.

On Saturday, there will a mass at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of the Assumption, 131 Union Ave., in Peekskill.

The 31st annual parade steps off at 3 p.m. Saturday at South Division and 2nd streets. The reviewing stand is on James Street, between Park and Brown streets.

John Testa, a lifelong Peekskill resident, will be the grand marshal. He is a former Peekskill mayor and councilman and Westchester County legislator.

The parade is sponsored by the St. Patrick's Committee of Peekskill, Peekskill Business Improvement District and the city of Peekskill.
