Police Arrest 4 in Assault at Sylvan Glen Park

The four, in their twenties, are from Peekskill, Cortlandt and Mohegan. They're charged with felonies.

Yorktown police have arrested four men in connection with the April 16 assault on four people who were camping out at Sylvan Glen Park in Mohegan Lake.

That night a group of men attacked two couples with baseball bats. Three of the victims had to be hospitalized, two with serious injuries.

The investigation included DNA evidence recovered from the crime scene, police said.

  • Domenico D’Ippolito, 24, of Cortlandt Manor, charged with first-degree gang assault
  • Robert Casey, 22, of Peekskill, charged with second-degree gang assault
  • A 21-year-old man from Mohegan Lake, charged with second-degree gang assault
  • Peter Andolina, 21, of Peekskill, charged with fourth-degree conspiracy

The men were sent to the Westchester County Jail. Bail is $50,000 each. They return to Yorktown town court July 2.
