Police Probe Bone Found In Buchanan

CORTLANDT, NY — New York State police issued a statement about the discovery of a bone that appeared to be human in Buchanan.

February 5, 2019, the New York State Police and the Buchanan Police Department have been investigating the discovery of a bone specimen from a property located in the Village of Buchanan that appeared to be human by the property owner. With the assistance of the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office, the specimen has been tentatively identified as animal leg bones.
