Police Seek Public's Help IDing Robbery Suspect
The man attempted to rob a convenience store in Cortlandt, police said.
CORTLANDT, NY โ The Bureau of Criminal Investigation of the New York State Police is requesting the assistance of the public. They're working to a man caught on camera at a robbery that occurred at about 11:50 p.m. April 25 at the Mobil Mart on 2225 Crompound Road in Cortlandt.
Security cameras show a black male approximately 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, wearing a black jacket, dark pants, a dark colored cloth covering his face, enter the store brandishing a knife.
Police said the man demanded money from the store clerk, who called 911. The man then ran away. Anyone with information regarding the identity or location of the pictured subject is asked to please contact the SP Cortlandt BCI at (914) 769-2600 and reference SJS# 8203866.
