HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Love it or hate it, New Year's Eve is happening again this year. Whether you plan to ring in 2019 at a family event, your favorite restaurant, a buzzing party with your friends, or all cozied up in front of the TV, we've got you covered.

So come up with some resolutions you can actually stick to and get ready to celebrate the New Year.

Chappaqua: Crabtree's Kittle House Restaurant and Inn offers a Chef’s Classic New Year's Eve. The food will be fabulous, with much locally-sourced. The dessert course is a Viennese Table & Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Station. The cost is $155 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Mahopac: Villa Barone Manor hosts its famous New Year's Eve Party. 7 PM cocktail hour, dinner to follow. All night open bar. Entertainment provided by NextgenerationDj Sonny. Call 718-892-3500 to reserve your table. Price per person is $150. Space is limited.

Mahopac: Celebrate New Year's Eve in grand style with an elegant evening of delicious food and fabulous entertainment. It’s a gala event at Putnam County Golf Course, 187 Hill Street, Mahopac. It begins at 7:30 PM with cocktail hour. Reservations are required.

Nanuet: Doubletree by Hilton Nanuet Hotel will host a New Year's Eve Party, featuring the sounds of the Showtime dance band, a five-hour open bar, and a buffet. Ring in 2019 with a champagne toast at midnight. The party costs $129 per person plus service and tax. The hotel is located at 425 East Route 59, Palisades Parkway, Exit 8W.

New Rochelle: 9th Annual Ring in the New Year at Noon at New Roc City, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday. For ages 2-10. This year, the event will support the New Rochelle Public Library through a $10 donation per family of four. Pre-registration required. For more information and to pre-register, go here.

New Rochelle: Alvin & Friends, 14 Memorial Highway. Three course Prix Fixe dinner served from 5 p.m.to 9 p.m. New Year's Eve (includes complimentary glass of champagne, party hats and live music for $115 per person); Late Night party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (includes light buffet, complimentary glass of champagne, party hats and dancing to a live band and a DJ, $65 per person; cash bar available for additional beverages). Ossining: The 3 Westerly Bar and Grill has two seatings with special New Year’s Eve menus. One is a a special 3 course pre-fixe dinner, with seatings between 5-6 p.m. The 8pm and 9pm party seating includes a special NYE 4 Course Pre-fixed menu, entertainment, champagne toast at midnight. Alcohol not included. They will have a live broadcast of the ball drop along with party favors and live DJ.

Ossining: The Sing Sing Kill Brewery's New Year's Eve party will feature live music from Ossining resident KJ Denhert and her band. KJ has sold out every venue in the area, so get your tickets in advance! Doors open at 8pm, music starts at 9pm and runs until just past midnight. Ticket price includes light bites, live music, and a NY sparkling wine toast at midnight. Tickets $20, advance or at the door.

Peekskill: Concert, ball drop and fireworks. 10 p.m. Monday. Division and Park streets. Free. Also the Paramount Theater brings in Almost Queen to headline a fun evening at 1008 Brown Street. Starts at 9:30 p.m. and includes a champagne toast.

Poughkeepsie: Walkway Over the Hudson: First Day Hike, 2 p.m. Tuesday. East entrance 61 Parker Ave., Poughkeepsie; west entrance 87 Haviland Road, Highland. Free. More information.

Valhalla: The Winter Wonderland at Kensico Dam in Valhalla, Westchester will hold its Family New Year's Eve Party with a ball drop plus all the activities such as rides, ice skating, circus performances, strolling characters and more. 5-9 p.m.

White Plains: Annual New Year's Eve ball drop. 10 p.m. Monday to 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Main and Court streets. Free.

Yonkers: Not everything has to be done at midnight! This would be a fabulous sunset event. It’s the second-to-last night for the Grand Holiday Illumination in the Walled Garden at the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy. The Walled Garden is brilliantly illuminated with festive holiday lights, highlighting the rich architectural and horticultural elements of the garden. Beautiful seasonal music in the Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Zoroastrian traditions will be played. The Illumination takes place every night from 4 - 8 p.m. Hot chocolate will be served by various community groups on most evenings. 945 North Broadway.

Why you should watch: Anderson Cooper will host CNN's annual New Year's Eve Live special with none other than "Watch What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen. As these two are best friends in real life, you can expect tons of witty banter and hilarious moments from the pair.

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2019" Hosted by Ryan Seacrest

Why you should watch: Even if there aren't any crazy celebrity snafus, you can count on crazy views of Time Square packed with people, as well as awesome musical performances.
