State Police Seek Community's Help with False Phone Threats to Hendrick Hudson High School
Tips can remain anonymous.

New York State Police issued this statement about the false threats of violence against Hen Hud High School that have forced lockdowns and disrupted activities and events for students at both the high school and nearby Frank G. Lindsey Elementary:
On October 28th and 29th, the New York State Police responded to the Hendrick Hudson High School, located on Albany Post Road,to investigate threats of school violence.
Troopers interviewed School officials who stated that they received anonymous phone calls from a male subject(s) who made a threats against the school. Principal Mackin immediately ordered that the school be placed on lock-down on both dates.

Uniform Troopers were assisted by school faculty and staff to swiftly evacuate the grounds. A thorough sweep of the building was conducted by State Police Canine units and nothing suspicious was located.
State Police are requesting that anyone with information regarding the suspicious phone calls contact the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Cortlandt Barracks by calling (914)769-2600. Calls can remain anonymous.

Uniformed Troopers are placed throughout the Hendrick Hudson School District as a precaution.
