Town Of Cortlandt: An Important Message Regarding Tropical Storm Henri

Good Afternoon,

This is the Town of Cortlandt with an important message regarding Tropical Storm Henri.

We expect this storm to bring inclement weather to our area as soon as 9pm this evening and to continue through Monday Morning. We urge residents to make final preparations in advance of this storm. This includes being prepared for the possibility of power loss and/or interruptions for an extended period of time. Those residents in flood prone areas should exercise caution.

All of our Department of Environmental services staff members are on standby to report to work if needed.

If necessary we will open the Emergency shelter at the Muriel Morabito Community Center at 29 Westbrook Drive.

We also urge residents to report all downed wires and power outages to Con Edison at 1-800-75CONED.
