TOWN OF CORTLANDT PARKS, RECREATION AND CONSERVATION ADVISORY BOARD VACANCY

The Town of Cortlandt Parks, Recreation and Conservation Advisory Board is currently seeking to fill a vacancy.  The Board consists of ten members, appointed for a three year term.  Members are selected with a view towards their demonstrated interest in the parks and recreation programs of the Town of Cortlandt and from different geographical areas of the Town of Cortlandt.  The Advisory Board shall recommend personnel specifications, formulate and make recommendations with respect to the parks, recreation and conservation programs of the town, develop and recommend long-range plans for park and open space acquisitions and facilities, recommend capital projects plan, fees, and charges.  Board meetings are held once a month.  If you would like more information or you would like to apply please send a letter indicating your interest to John Palmiotto at johnp@townofcortlandt.com.  Briefly describe your background and attach a resume.  The closing date to accept resumes is Friday, November 26, 2021
