2 Arrested, 1 Stabbed In Cortlandt Home Break-in: PD
New York State Police arrested Tiara K. Frederick, 23, and Giovani R. Fernandez, 26, both of Mahopac.
CORTLANDT, NY — Two Mahopac residents were recently arrested after New York State Police said they broke into a residence, leading to an altercation in which one of them was stabbed.
Tiara K. Frederick, 23, and Giovani R. Fernandez, 26, were charged with first-degree burglary and third-degree mischief.
According to police, Frederick and Fernandez broke into a home on 13th Street in the Veroplanck area of Cortlandt. Police said the pair were familiar with the residents who live there. An altercation ensued between the parties, which resulted in Frederick sustaining a stab wound, police said. Frederick was taken Westchester Medical Center for treatment.

Frederick and Fernandez were issued appearance tickets for the Cortlandt Town Court at 9 a.m. May 11.
