White Plains Linen Gives Back on Giving Tuesday and Year-Round
White Plains Linen donates to nonprofit organizations and contributes towards multiple local causes; locally and nationally

Giving Tuesday is on November 29, a day dedicated to giving back to the local community. It is also the day that kicks off the charitable giving season. In the spirit of this day, we wanted to highlight all the ways White Plains Linen gives back to the community year-round and why it is important to give back, especially locally.
As a family owned business, White Plains Linen considers the community its “extended family” and counts community involvement and nonprofit support among its top priorities. Over the past 10 years, the company has donated linens to nonprofit organizations and contributed towards more than 400 local causes both locally and nationally.

· Hosting a community blood drive for this year’s blood shortage emergency
· Hosting a fundraiser for BEAT AIDS Project Zimbabwe

· Donating 30 brand new chef jackets to Peekskill High School
· Donating linens to local events such as New Taste of the Upper West Side, PGA Tour tournament at Baltusrol Golf Club, Support Connection’s Brave & Beautiful Night of Beauty in Rye Brook and numerous Culinary Institute of America Events
· Funding the White Plains Linen College Scholarship Program, where two Peekskill High School students are presented with scholarships each year
· Donating linens for programs and charities including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Christopher’s Gala, Relay for Life, Walk for Multiple Sclerosis and the Careers Through Culinary Arts Program
