You're Invited to Easter at Mount Olivet

PEEKSKILL, NY—Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Peekskill, NY is rolling out the welcome mat on Sunday, April 16^th , as it joyously commemorates Easter, one of the highest holy days in the Christian calendar. Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Robert E Young, the day will feature something for everyone. But the celebration won’t be complete unless you are there. “We’re saving a seat for you and your family,” Rev. Young proclaims.

Mount Olivet is a place where the entire family can be fed—physically as well as spiritually. The day begins at 8:30 am with a Christian Café where a light breakfast will be served. This is followed at 9:30 by Sunday School for All Ages. Children’s church, which begins at 10:45, runs concurrently with the vibrant Sunday worship service, led by Rev. Young.

Easter is a time of new beginnings. It symbolizes death to the old and life to the new.
