11th Annual Softball Tournament 'To Strike Out ALS' in Pelham Aug. 6

The Annual ALS Softball Tournament to “Strike Out ALS” is coming up Aug. 6.

It's hosted by the Anthony Senerchia Foundation, which was formed more than a decade ago by Anthony and Jeanette Senerchia after Anthony was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which is commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease and which has no cure.

And even if you're not playing, there's lots to do, including kids crafts, raffles, and refreshments all day.

The event starts at 9 a.m. at Glover Field.
