A.G. Williams Painting Company recently participated in a fundraiser at Grand Prix New York (GPNY) in Mount Kisco, NY to benefit The Community Center of Northern Westchester.

A.G. Williams Painting Company recently participated in a fundraiser at Grand Prix New York (GPNY) in Mount Kisco, NY to benefit The Community Center of Northern Westchester. The goal of the event was to help raise food and money to aid those in need during the holiday season.

GPNY invited patrons and businesses of Westchester County to lend their support in any way they could for a day including contests, drink specials and visits from local sports guests. PGA Pro Brian Crowell and Mark Jeffers hosted a special 2-hour “Clubhouse Holiday Special Sponsored by 2UNDR” that aired lived from the event on AM 1490 WGCH. Miss Teen Westchester 2015, Jordan Decker, was also on hand to donate food and show support.

The fundraiser received an excellent turnout with so many contributing to the cause. In total, $1,450 was raised and 900 pounds of food was collected. The companies that participated in donating food and money were A.G. Williams Painting Company, Corporate Audio Visual Services, County Waste Management, Diamond Properties, Events To Remember, Grand Prix New York, Home Green Advantage, Rey Insurance, Tompkins Excavating Corp, and Venator Sales Group.

“It was a wonderful event,” said Liane Rigano, Color Consultant at A.G. Williams Painting Company. “We believe it is important to give back to the community and this was the perfect opportunity for us to help during the holidays.”

The Community Center provides food and clothing to nearly 2,000 households in need in 37 Northern Westchester communities. They offer practical tools to help neighbors reach self-sufficiency, such as job counseling, construction skills, computer and English language classes, health screenings, nutrition workshops, and guidance in accessing other services. During the holiday season, they share special foods for the holidays, as well as new children’s pajamas.”
