After getting pajamas from the program, “one kid said to me, ‘what are these?’” said Genevieve Piturro, founder and executive director of Stuff the Bus. “And that really touched my heart.”
The program is working on collecting pajamas for older kids too. So far it has distributed more than one million pajamas and books in 50 states. The new goal is to collect 5,000 more.
