Colonial K-1 chess team wins 1st place in Daniel Webster Tournament

NEW ROCHELLE  — The Colonial School chess team won the Daniel Webster Elementary School Chess Tournament in the K-1 section on Feb. 4. Also, Prospect Hill won third place in the same section.

Noah Breskin won fourth place in the primary section. Both schools are coached by Mr. Mike Ellenbogen.

Players for the Colonial  K-1 team were Timmy Meyer, Ian Urquhart, Kyle Chang and Larisa Breskin. On the Prospect K-1 team were Parker Turck and Liam Bruckner, who were competing in their first tournament.

Now they are winning tournaments!
