English (language arts) and math tests came and went for students

NEW YORK STATE — The New York State tests were given to the third, fourth and fifth grade students.

NEW YORK STATE — The New York State tests were given to the third, fourth and fifth grade students.

Third graders have different tests than the fourth and fifth graders. In English language arts, you have to read something, then read the question and cricle the right answer.

The ELA test also had writing questions.

In math, teachers had us do work in the “Coach” book before the test. On the test, there were multiplication problems students had to do before they were finished.
