PHILADELPHIA — The fifth grade went to this historic city on May 10 to see where Ben Franklin lived and visit the Constitution Center. They went to Philadelphia at 6:30 am for a day and got back at 9:30 pm.

Riley Connor (5R) said they also went to the Liberty Museum and to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. All the kids sang “We Are Young” at the Hard Rock, and the waiters were telling them to sing louder, said Riley.

All the fifth graders loved the Philadelphia trip. They thought it was very exciting. They also bought some things in the gift shop for their families.
