Mrs. Bagwell teaches now but once walked Colonial’s halls as student

COLONIAL SCHOOL GYM — What was Colonial School like before you started here? Well, let’s find out. Mrs. Bagwell, the gym teacher, actually went here as a student back in the early nineties.

“It was very similar,” said Mrs. Bagwell.

Some small things have changed, though. There was a stage where the art room and the gym are now, she said. The doors on the top and bottom stairway landings didn’t exist then.

Mrs. Bagwell said “it was awesome” when she joined her former school as a teacher, but “it was hard calling all the teachers by their first names.”

Mrs. Bagwell went here like 20 years ago. That is a pretty long time if you ask me.
