Pelham Palace serves the third grade Chinese food during social studies field trip
PELHAM PALACE — The third grade went on a field trip to the Pelham Palace on Feb. 29 because students are learning about China in social studies.

PELHAM PALACE — The third grade went on a field trip to the Pelham Palace on Feb. 29 because students are learning about China in social studies.
The people who worked at the Pelham Palace served the third grade a lot of food, like rice, eggroll, dumplings, chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken and lo mein.

The Pelham Palace had many kids in the place because there was about 59 third graders. The kids had to walk to Pelham Palace on the rainy day. The restaurant was decorated very nicely. A lot of the third graders loved Pelham Palace. Everyone this reporter talked to said they had a great time.
Marie Sweeney (3V) said she felt welcome when she walked in to The Pelham Palace. Marie liked most of the food except the dumplings, and she said she would recomend a friend to go. Marie said her favorite food was the chicken and broccoli. Marie said the service is good and rated the restaurant an 8 out of 10.

Lucia LaVallee (3R) felt welcomed too when she walked in. But she thought it was dark in the Pelham Palace and only liked the chicken and broccoli. Lucia wouldn’t recommend the Pelham Palace to a friend because she only likes the chicken and broccoli. Lucia would go back to the Pelham Palace if there were more types of food.
The third grade left the Pelham Palace at 12:30. Then they went back to school.
