School administrators from China visit school, observe students at work in classes

COLONIAL SCHOOL — Thirty-two school administrators from China visited here on Nov. 16 to see what kids in America learn.

The Chinese administrators observed kids in class. They were supposed to stay for 30 minutes in each class but, unfortunately, since they were delayed, they only got about 10 to 15 minutes.

After they went in the classrooms, they went to the basement to meet Mrs. Wilson, Mr. Benkwitt, Student Government President Henry Driesen,Vice President Maggie Solimine, Second Vice President Claudia Dodge, and Richard Che and others.

“The school is very beautiful. The students are so young and loving,” said Mrs. Wang, a member of the delegation who spoke through a translator.

Sadly, the Chinese said their goodbyes to our school and went home.
