Second annual Family Pasta Night set for March 16 at middle school cafeteria

HUTCHINSON SCHOOL — The PTA is sponsoring the second annual Family Pasta Night on March 16 at the Pelham Middle School Cafeteria.

The cost to eat has not been finalized yet, but will likely be $30 per family.

Theme baskets will be raffled off, as well as “teacher experiences” like a pizza lunch with a teacher for the winning student and a friend. The PTA is also donating spots in some of the school’s most coveted enrichment classes, and a pair of “Phineas and Ferb” tickets are up for grabs.

“Pasta night is a great representation of the Hutchinson communities,” said event chairwoman Ericka Connor. “Lots of families, food and fellowship with the best of our school. Last year, we had well over 50 families attend our annual PTA fundraiser. This year we will add a raffle to the fun, along with John the Magician and the great food and drinks provided by Chartwells.”

Annemarie Garcia,  PTA recording secretary and Stella & Dot star stylist, is holding a truck show of her gorgeous jewelry in conjunction with Pasta Night and will donate 50 percent of her profits to the PTA.

“I’m really looking forward to pasta night,” said PTA Co-President Andrea Reinke. “Good food, great company and awesome raffles. What more could you ask for?”
