THE BRONX — Would you like to spend your spring break helping others? Some people do.
Several college kids, rather than relaxing on their spring break, took an alternative. They went to help out others at a facility in the Bronx.

Elsie Kim, a Boston University student who did the alternative spring break, said that she wanted to do it because she wanted to have a new experience.
Other people had the same idea and said they all totally agree that they would do it again. Cookie’s favorite thing about the program was helping other people and meeting new people.

Sam Martinelli, the co-captain of the BU team, said he liked seeing happy faces.
