Colonial joins other Pelham groups in food drive from Jan. 15 to Feb. 3

COLONIAL — The Pelham food drive was held from Jan. 15 to Feb. 3. Groups at Colonial that supported this food drive included the Student Government and the Pelham Teachers Association.

COLONIAL — The Pelham food drive was held from Jan. 15 to Feb. 3. Groups at Colonial that supported this food drive included the Student Government and the Pelham Teachers Association. The Pelham Student Associations of the middle school and high school are also participating.

The items that were collected included:

  • Canned meats including Spam, ham, beef stew, chicken, corned beef
  • Canned fish including tuna, salmon, sardines
  • Canned beans including kidney, lentils, butter beans, great northern, lima
  • Canned soups with beans, chicken, ham or beef
  • Peanut butter in plastic containers
  • Canned ravioli
  • Beverages including juices in cans or plastic bottles, coffee
  • Canned fruits and vegetables, canned tomatoes and sauce
  • Health and beauty aids including toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and shampoo
