Pelham Daily Sports Digest: Pelham Recreation Announces Zumba Classes

Let’s face it, working out can be healthy, rewarding and beneficial. Working out can be lots of things, but it’s never been known to be an exhilarating experience… UNTIL NOW! The Zumba-program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to0follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away.

Classes are held on Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and run from March 21 to May 30.

Today’s Schedule:

In boys basketball, Tuckahoe will take on Section 2’s Mechanicville at 5 p.m. at the Glens Fall Civic Center in the Class C State Semifinals. The winner of this game will go on to play on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. for the State Championship.

In girls basketball, Irvington will take on Saranac Central at 11:45 a.m. at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy in the Class B State Semifinals. The winner will advance to the championship game at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

In girls basketball, Pearl River will face off against Averill Park at 3:15 p.m. in the Class A State Semifinals at Hudson Valley Community College. The winner of the game will play in the State Championship at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

In girls basketball, Ossining will take on Cicero-N. Syracuse in the Class AA State Semifinals at 8 p.m. at Hudson Valley Community College. The winner will play in the State Championship on Saturday at 8:45 p.m.  

 

Saturday’s Schedule:

In boys basketball, Tappan Zee will take on Jamesville-DeWitt at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the Glens Fall Civic Center in the Class A State Semifinal. The Winner of this game will play in the State Championship on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

In boys basketball, Mount Vernon will take on Albany CBA at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday in the Class AA State Semifinals. The winner of the game will play at 3:15 on Sunday for the State Championship.
