Dead Man Found on Train Tracks in Rye: 27-Year-Old Identified
The man suffered multiple injuries before his death.

William Joseph, a 27-year-old Far Rockaway, NY resident, has been identified as the man found dead on the Metro-North train tracks in Rye early Friday.
The Journal News reports that Joseph suffered multiple fractures and lacerations. Authorities are investigating whether he may have been struck by a previous train before he was discovered already dead on the tracks by the crew of another train just before 7:30 a.m.
Joseph was discovered near the New Haven Line tracks by Locust Avenue.
