District-wide Spelling Bee A Success
The winners from grades 3-8 at each school competed in the District-wide bee.

From Pelham Schools: Sixth grader Milan Otondi won the first annual Pelham Public Schools district-wide spelling bee with Colonial students Evan Kaplan (3 rd grade) and Kira Findikyan (5 th grade) placing 2 nd and 3 rd respectively.
During the month of May, students in grades 2-8 in the four elementary schools and middle school competed in bees at their respective buildings. The bee was broken into two divisions, grades 2 and 3, and grades 3-8 (third grades could choose their division). The winners from grades 3-8 at each school competed in the District-wide bee.
