Colonial Elementary School Blood Drive

The “Lunch Bunch” is sponsoring its 5th Little Doctor Blood Drive at Colonial Elementary School on Thursday, November 1, 2012, from 3:15-7:45 in the school gym.

Ordinarily, a 5-7 day supply is required to ensure that blood is available for scheduled surgical procedures, medical treatments for cancer patients and to meet emergency or unexpected disaster needs. To meet local needs, New York Blood Center requires 2,000 blood donations each day.

Whether you’re a veteran donor or first time donor—please consider donating to help many hospital patients in need. It’s safe and easy! Blood Donors must bring I.D., eat and hydrate prior to donation, be between 16-76 years old (*16 yrs. with NYBC consent form) and weigh a minimum of 110 lbs.
