Come experience a bit of magic in the woods at Wave Hill this weekend.
Kids will have the chance to create their own mini houses in the woods, crafted from sticks and leaves. Guest storyteller Rama Mandel will tell all about Wave Hill's fabled woodland fairies. Jim Keyes will lead a sing along, with songs about "faraway lands where make-believe creatures come to life," accompanied by live mandolin and accordion music.
On Sunday, adults (and children ages 10 and up) can learn about the "mystical properties" of witch hazel, snakeroot and wolfsbane, while hearing about other horticultural myths on a folklore walk.
