Korean Folk Art Day: Traditional Korean Music and Dance

The Korean Traditional Performing Arts Association has collaborated with The Pelham Art Center to present a program of Korean traditional music and dance.

The program will be comprised of five parts performed by three musicians.

The event, which was organized by ethnomusicologist and composer Dr. Ju-Yong Ha, will feature Lee Kyung Kang on the Haegeum, a Korean string instrument, Eun Sun Jung on the Gayageum, a 25 string zither-like instrument, and Yi Su Chung on the Janggo, an hour-glass shaped drum.
