Vintage Jewelry Exhibit & Sale

Timeless Treasures (Pelham's new antique store) will host a Retrospective and Sale of the jewelry designed and manufactured by late Pelham resident, Jack (Jacques) LiBuono.  LiBuono designed and manufactured jewelry in the 1940's through the 1980's for important designers such as Kenneth J. Lane, Hattie Carnegie, Yves St. Lauren and others.  He was called the designer's designer and his designs are truly innovative and ahead of his time.  In fact the pieces which will be offered for sale, although vintage, are  fashionable currently. Jewelry historians have shown a lot of interest in documenting LiBuono's designs in antiques journals and books.  James, LiBuono's son, will also be present to talk about his father's career and exhibit his private collection, as well. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of "designer history" or buy a special Valentine gift.  A reception will begin at noon with live music and light fare served.  In the event of inclement weather, the event will continue on Saturday, February 18th at the same time and location.
