Wartburg to Host Workshops for New Affordable Senior Housing Units

With construction advancing quickly on its Friedrichs Residence, a new affordable housing building for seniors 62 and over, The Wartburg will be holding two information workshops for potential tenants and other interested parties. The workshops, the first of which is scheduled for Saturday June 23rd from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Wartburg Chapel on the organization’s Mount Vernon campus, are intended to educate anyone interested in the application process, income restrictions, and schedule of grand opening.  The Housing Action Council, a non-profit affordable housing advocacy organization, will be leading the workshops relating to the Friedrichs Residence. 

A second workshop will be held on Thursday, June 28th at the New Rochelle Library (Ossie Davis Theater) from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Applications will be available at both workshops.
