Films to Inspire Hope and Recovery for Children at Pelham Picture House Nov. 22

The event is to raise awareness in Westchester to the "new childhood epidemics," such as autism, ADHD/ADD, asthma and other conditions.

The following announcement is from Epidemic Answers and Our Kids First Foundation:

Epidemic Answers and Our Kids First Foundation, two non-profit organizations with a common vision, have joined forces to raise awareness in Westchester to the “new childhood epidemics,” such as autism, ADHD/ADD, asthma and other conditions. Their common vision includes a message of hope: that children diagnosed with these conditions can get better. Together, these organizations are hosting a movie-screening event at the Pelham Picture House, “Films to Inspire Hope,” on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014, at 7 p.m.

The fund and awareness-raising event includes a cocktail hour, followed by a short preview of the Canary Kid Project, a screening of the feature-length independent film, Sister, and a Question and Answer session. The Q & A portion of the evening will feature Director, David Lascher, Producer, Todd Camhe, members of the film, Canary Kids Executive Producer, Beth Lambert, and local practitioners who work with children with chronic health conditions.
