Girl Scout Camp Runels Open House

Going to Girl Scout camp is a chance to explore nature, have fun, try new
things and make great friends. Camp Runels is nestled
on 300 wooded acres along the shores of Little Island Pond.  



Some of the many programs offered this summer at camp will include:
Aquatic Adventures, learn how to be a water-saver and build your own magnifying
glass out of a can to get a better view of what is in the pond; Treasure
Hunters, Go on a high-tech treasure hunt. Learn to use a GPS device and enjoy a
range of camp activities while you look for hidden treasure; Trail Mix, Learn
the basics of hiking and survival in the outdoors.



Interested
in exploring your options at summer camp? Attend an open house to learn about
resident and day programs at Camp Runels
on Sunday, May 11 from 11-2 pm or Sunday, June 1 from 1 – 4 pm or
Sunday, June 8 from 1-4 pm. Girls and their families are welcome to tour camp
and learn about the fun programs that will be offered there this summer. All
