Why Go: Jen's Community at Wildcliff presents a fall celebration for the whole family to enjoy at Wildcliff Manor. Many local artisans will be at the festival, along with a professional henna tattoo artist, face painter, a petting zoo and live music featuring "Annie" from Annie and the Natural Wonder Band. There will be cider for everyone to enjoy, fresh from an apple cider press, with donuts.

Where/When: , 307 Mamaroneck Rd., Scarsdale, Sunday, Oct. 16, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Why Go: The 13th Annual Scarecrow Festival is a benefit to raise funds for the Emergency Department at White Plains Hospital. At the Scarecrow Festival, families can build, dress and accessorize their own life-size scarecrows to take home. Clothing, straw, accessories, decorative materials and step-by-step scarecrow building instructions will be supplied to all participating families. Three sessions are available for pre-registration: 10 a.m. team, noon team, and the 2 p.m. team. In addition to scarecrow crafting, other festival activities include live entertainment, arts and crafts for kids, a bake sale and raffles. Click here to register.

Why Go: A day of family fun by the Larchmont reservoir, featuring live animals, live music, arts and crafts, face painting, pumpkin painting, pond study, family scavenger hunts and other naturalist-led activities.
Pricing: Free (donations are accepted).

Why Go: An afternoon full of autumn fun for everyone. Festival activities will include scarecrow-building contests, cider making, pumpkin-carving contests, a scavenger hunt, tractor rides, petting zoo, live music and more.
Pricing: Advance tickets are $5 for members and $8 for non-members. Day of the event is $7 for members and $10 for non-members. Pre-register by Oct. 15. Click here to pre-register.
