Have a Blast. High Holiday Services with Chabad
Join a meaningful and inspiring High Holiday service, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
It’s just a few short weeks away from the busiest time of the Jewish calendar—the high holiday season. Chabad of Pelham invites you to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with us at a number of special events throughout the holiday season.
Rosh Hashanah heralds the beginning of the Jewish new year and begins this year at sundown on Sunday, September 13 and extends until nightfall on Tuesday, September 15.
Chabad of Pelham invites you to join us for a meaningful and inspiring High Holiday service with the sounds of the traditional Shofar blowing. Our user-friendly services are set in a in a warm, welcoming and non-judgemental atmosphere, ensuring a meaningful experience for both the beginner and the advanced. Song, commentary and the use of English-Hebrew prayer books invite those on all levels of Hebrew-reading—or those unfamiliar with the prayers—to become active participants in the Synagogue experience. A fun kids program will keep children of all ages entertained, ensuring the whole family can enjoy the High Holiday experience together.

No Jewish holiday is complete without a hearty meal! Chabad of Pelham is hosting a community dinner and invites you to join us for a delicious four course meal, with the traditional holiday foods.
“We’re excited to bring a number of services that cater to all different ages, from children, to seniors to the local community, giving everyone an opportunity to celebrate the high holidays as a family and as a community,” said Rabbi Levi Groner, co-director of Chabad Pelham along with his wife, Chaya Groner.

In addition to the Rosh Hashanah Services, Chabad of Pelham is hosting a meaningful, and inspirational prayer service on Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur begins this year after sundown on Tuesday, September 22 and extends until nightfall on Wednesday, September 23.
