Hutch Lane Closures Scheduled in Mount Vernon and Pelham This Week
North and southbound lanes will be closed between exits 7 and 15, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., starting today. Motorists are advised to use caution.
There will be closures on the north and southbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway in Pelham and Mount Vernon today through Friday for road maintenance, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Lanes will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. between Exit 7, at Route 1, and Exit 15, at the Cross County Parkway.
Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular
attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.
Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone and drivers who receive two or more convictions for speeding violations in a work zone could have their driver’s license suspended.
