Kids are looking forward to fourth grade's recycle raceway
The fourth graders are looking forward to the Recycle Raceway, a project where they make race cars from recycled materials and race them.

4TH GRADE CLASSROOMS — The fourth graders are looking forward to the Recycle Raceway, a project where they make race cars from recycled materials and race them.
“I think it will be fun because you get to use recycled items and get to see them race,” said Emma Van Praagh.

Grace Dunhill said, “I’m really excited for it, and I already have an idea for a car.”
Added Larisa Breskin, “I think it will definitely be fun because my brother Noah did it when he was in fourth grade.”

People have interesting ideas for things they will use to build their cars.
Jonah Sherbansky said he’s thinking “of using CDs as wheels. I am really looking forward to it.”
“I’m probably going to make a car out of a milk carton,” said Lawrence Ohmes.
Fifth graders have their own views on participating in the project a year ago.
“I think the fourth graders will have fun too because I had fun building a car,” said Andrew Kelly. “It was fun to see how far your friends’ went. Also, there was a feeling of achievement of doing my best.”
Amelie L’Henaff said, “I liked the tension because the boys kept on saying that none of the girls would win. I definitely think the fourth graders will have fun.”
