Lane Closures On The Hutchinson River Parkway Monday and Tuesday

PELHAM, NY — Various single lane closures are anticipated on both the north and southbound sides of the Hutchinson River Parkway in Pelham and Mount Vernon on Monday and Tuesday, state transportation officials said.

The work will be done between Exit 5 (Orchard Beach) and Exit 14 (Hutchinson Boulevard) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 16-17, weather permitting.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
