Mother's Day Mix: Pelham's Weekend Weather

Here are the details for a busy May weekend around Pelham Manor.

PELHAM, NY — Cooler and unsettled weather may disrupt many plans Saturday and Sunday across the Hudson Valley. But don't despair. By midday Sunday, the storm front will be heading out and things may clear up.

"By Mother’s Day, the front will have sunk far enough south that dry, nice weather will expand south at least into northern Pennsylvania, and perhaps as far south as New York City later in the day," said AccuWeather Meteorologist Bill Deger.

  • Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. North wind 10 to 14 mph.
  • Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. Light north wind.
  • Saturday: Showers likely, then occasional showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. High near 60. East wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Saturday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am, then a chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 50. Northeast wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. Northeast wind around 7 mph.
  • Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51.
