National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Is Sat., Sept. 26

The Pelham and Pelham Manor police departments are participating in National Prescription Take-Back Day on Saturday, September 26.

Have unused, unwanted or expired prescription drugs in your medicine cabinet? The Pelham and Pelham Manor Police Departments, in partnership with PACT and the Drug Enforcement Administration, are once again participating in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. You can go to either department between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on September 26 to get rid of your drugs, no questions asked. Disposing of prescriptions in this manner does two great things: it protects your kids, because prescription drug abuse often starts with what’s in the medicine cabinet -- and it protects the environment by keeping drugs out of the water supply.
