Pelham Memorial High School Holds Orchestra Concert

From Pelham Public Schools: Dr. Michele Zanky and the PMHS Orchestra took the stage on Dec. 15 for the winter concert. The orchestra performed renditions of Tchaikovsky’s “Russian Choral & Overture,” Nunez’s “Locust Street Rag,” and McCarrick’s “Fiddle Like the Dickens,” and Corelli’s ‘Concerto Grosso, op. 6, #8 ‘Christmas Concerto,’” featuring Rachel Radvany and Adam Wisniewski-Jensen on Violin, Matyas Spunberg on Cello and John-Howard Bissell on Bass. Vocalist Athena Woodfin joined on Cohen/Zanky’s Halleluiah and the orchestra also performed Piazzola’s “Libertango” and Hofeldt’s “She Will Hang the Night With Stars.”
