Pelham Rec offers backyard games program at elementary schools

PELHAM — For grades K-5, Pelham Recreation is offering a backyard games program this spring that includes whiffle ball, kickball, flag football, soccer and capture the flag.

PELHAM — For grades K-5, Pelham Recreation is offering a backyard games program this spring that includes whiffle ball, kickball, flag football, soccer and capture the flag.

The backyard games program will be run after school at all the elementary schools. It started last week.

Tyler Chang (4G) said he was interested because he likes sports.

Charlie Parent (4G) wasn't because he doesn't like Rec programs.

Jackson Shampanier-Bowen (4G) would participate because he likes sports.

Kyle Chang (2C) would also try the backyard games because he thinks they would be interesting.
